Windows: "Windows protected your PC"

Click More info → Run anyway. See Install on Windows.

macOS: "Apple could not verify LED Event Manager"

Click Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. See Install on macOS.

No update prompt appears

The app checks only while the computer is online. The prompt waits while an output window is shown on a display or an NDI stream is being sent, and after Later it comes back at the next automatic check, a few hours later. A version you skipped is not offered by the automatic checks. Click Settings → Updates → Check for updates to check now — it also shows a skipped version. See Updates.

macOS: the update did not install

On macOS Download only opens the new installer in the browser; install it by dragging the app to Applications. See Updates → macOS.

"Projects could not be opened on this computer"

The app data is encrypted with a key protected by the operating system. After the keychain was reset, or when the data folder was copied from another computer, it cannot be unlocked. Nothing is deleted — the locked file is kept in the data folder. Load the project files you saved earlier (Load, Team plan).

A button shows "not available in the trial"

You are on the trial plan. See Plans.

"Project file import and export are part of the Team plan"

Loading and saving project files needs the Team plan. See Plans.

NDI output: "The NDI library is unavailable"

On Windows the app looks for the NDI library in its own installation first (resources\ndi, shipped with the installer), then in a system-wide NDI install. If it is found in neither, install the NDI Runtime from the NDI website and restart the app. On macOS the NDI Runtime is always required.

Reporting a bug

Open Settings → About, click Copy and paste the build details into your report.
